Every athlete starts with a Baseline Assessment: about 60 minutes on pro-team testing systems and a report you can act on. From there, train with us on a plan, test monthly, or book a single test or 1-on-1 session. No sign-up fee, no long-term contract, and listed prices are the full price.

Step 1 · Test

Start with the numbers.

Tests run in small groups of up to 4 athletes. The core battery takes about an hour; up to 2 sport packs can be added, and each adds about 10 minutes per athlete on top.

  • Baseline Assessment

    $129

The full core battery on force plates, motion capture, and strength sensors, and your athlete's first report: it compares your athlete with their own body, left against right, and says what to work on first. Required before any plan, and every athlete starts here, whether or not they train with us. Up to 2 sport packs, $39 each.

  • One-off test

    $129

A single retest, no commitment: the same tests as the Baseline and a new report that shows what moved. Up to 2 sport packs, $39 each. Needs an APX Baseline first.

  • Monthly Testing

    $99/month

One retest every month: the same tests, a new report, and the number that matters most, what changed. One sport pack included, one more for $19. A 3-month minimum, then month to month, renewing until canceled. Needs an APX Baseline first.

  • Training plan members

    Free

A free retest every month with every sport pack, 2 per retest. It comes with both training plans.

Sport packs

Sport packs add sport-specific tests to the core battery, and their results get their own section of the report. Up to 2 on any test; the coach helps you pick. Each pack is $39, or $19 on Monthly Testing, and training plans include every pack.

  • Speed

    $39

Field and court sports, track sprints and jumps, football, rugby, lacrosse, hockey.

  • Cutting and Landing

    $39

Soccer, basketball, volleyball, lacrosse, field hockey, gymnastics, dance, cheer, distance running. Ages 12 and up.

  • Overhead and Rotation

    $39

Baseball, softball, volleyball, tennis, swimming, water polo, golf, track throws.

  • Contact and Collision

    $39

Football, wrestling, rugby, hockey, martial arts, boxing. Ages 13 and up.

Teams, clubs, and schools

Bring 10 or more athletes and every one of them tests at the team rate. We build the test battery around your sport and roster, with up to two sport packs, and each athlete gets their own private report; a team test counts as that athlete's Baseline for 12 months. Test once, or three times a season (pre, mid, and post). At the lab, or on campus for 20 or more athletes at $600 per site day. One invoice for the organization. Call (858) 899-0098 or get in touch to set a date.

  • 10 to 19 athletes

    $99 per athlete

Team Season, three testing days: $269 per athlete.

  • 20 to 49 athletes

    $89 per athlete

Team Season, three testing days: $249 per athlete.

  • 50 or more athletes

    $79 per athlete

Team Season, three testing days: $229 per athlete.

School districts

An annual agreement for several schools: $75 a test at 300 or more tests a year, $65 at 1,000 or more, at the lab or on campus. Title I schools pay $65 a test at any volume. School-run testing is paid by the school, district, or boosters, never by families as a condition of being on the team. Get in touch to start with a one-school pilot.

Reports

What you get back.

Every Baseline and retest ends with a private report written for parents, not sports scientists: what was measured and which numbers held up across repeat tries, where body size, jump height and power, hip strength, and sprint times with the Speed pack sit against published youth data for their age, left-right differences to watch from the first test, up to three things to work on with a training focus, and when to retest. There are no rankings; each retest compares your athlete with their own last session. A coach reads every report before it is released, and each sport pack adds its own section.

Step 2 · Train

Train by the numbers.

Training is optional. Every class works on numbers from your athlete's report, and each monthly retest shows what moved. Speed and Agility is for ages 8 to 14, Strength and Conditioning for 12 to 18 (ages 12 to 14 can join either); inside each plan, groups are set by ability, not age.

Speed and Agility

$399/month

About $30.70 a class

Sprint mechanics, acceleration, agility and change of direction, jumping and landing, mobility and range of motion, with a coach who knows your athlete's numbers.

Training
3 classes a week, 60 minutes; extra classes $60
Group size
Up to 10 athletes, ages 8 to 14
Testing
Free monthly retest, every sport pack
Commitment
None: month to month, renews until canceled

Strength and Conditioning

$499/month

About $57.60 a class

Strength and power on top of speed: lifting, jumping, and sprinting. The group moves between the turf (speed, agility, plyometrics) and the lab (strength and power) during the class, depending on the day's schedule.

Training
2 classes a week, 1 hour 45 minutes; extra classes $90
Group size
Up to 8 athletes, ages 12 to 18
Testing
Free monthly retest, every sport pack
Commitment
None: month to month, renews until canceled

Both plans include a free retest every month ($129 value) with every sport pack, periodic in-class testing as needed so progress is checked between retests, and weekend classes that work as makeups for a missed weekday class. Plans start after a Baseline Assessment. No long-term contract: cancel any month, with no charges after your current billing period. Per-class figures are monthly averages. Adults 19 and older train in 1-on-1 sessions and can book any testing.

  • 1-on-1 Session

    $90

One coach, one athlete, 60 minutes, built around the report. Open to all ages, adults included, after a Baseline Assessment. Weekdays at 10:00, 11:15, 12:30, and 2:30 (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) and 7:30 (Wednesday, Thursday).

  • Extra class

    $60 or $90

Want more classes in a week? Each extra class is $60 on Speed and Agility and $90 on Strength and Conditioning, when there is a spot, with no plan change.

Savings

  • Baseline credit

    $50 off your first month

Join a training plan within 14 days of your Baseline and get $50 off your first month.

  • Second athlete

    $25 off a month

Two athletes in the house? The second one's training plan is $25 less every month both are training. One discount per household.

  • Monthly Testing sport pack

    $19

Monthly Testing members pay $19 for an extra sport pack instead of $39.

Fine print

The fine print.

Cancel
Training plans are month to month: cancel any month, with no charges after your current billing period. California law also gives you 5 business days after signing to cancel for a full refund (longer for larger purchases), and the right to cancel if the athlete dies or a doctor confirms a disability that stops them taking part, or if you move more than 25 miles away and we can't transfer the plan to a facility near you. Details are in your agreement.
Monthly Testing
A 3-month minimum, then renews month to month. Moving up to a training plan ends Monthly Testing right away, even during the minimum.
Retests
Every retest needs an APX Baseline first. Monthly Testing and training plans include one retest each billing month; a month you skip doesn't carry over.
Classes
Extra classes are booked when there is a spot and don't change your plan. Cancel a class at least 12 hours ahead to free that spot in your week. A missed class without notice still counts toward your week.
Account holder
For athletes under 18, a parent or guardian signs up.
Changes
Plans and pricing are subject to change.
